Registration is open for the 2012 National Restaurant Association Show, set for May 5-8 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

The 2012 NRA Show features a lineup of unprecedented chef talent. Attendees will learn insider tips from industry notables such as Rick Bayless and “Top Chef” contestants Richard Blais, Spike Mendelsohn and Fabio Viviani at the World Culinary Showcase.

In addition, the show will feature keynote speaker Former President Bill Clinton, who will share insights into his presidency and his current work with the William J. Clinton Foundation.

This year’s more than 70 education sessions feature something for everyone, with topics discussing LED lighting, the state of C-store foodservice, dietary guidelines, food truck programs, supply chain management, acrylamide, wellness trends, sustainable food options, FSMA update and how to serve great gluten-free meals, among others.

Plus, the 2012 Food & Beverage Product Innovation award recipients were announced, and include everything from a wine by the glass bottled directly into a recyclable plastic cup, to a 3-in-1 soup, sauce or dip, a unique frozen product that allows operators to create three menu items by simply changing the preparation.
