NFRA creates Refrigerated Hall of Fame
There's a new forum to recognize refrigerated food company executives for their industry contributions and leadership. The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association, Harrisburg, Pa., said it has established the "NFRA Refrigerated Food Hall of Fame."
Induction ceremonies will be held at the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Convention on alternate years between the Frozen Food Hall of Fame and the NFRA Refrigerated Food Hall of Fame. The inaugural award will be presented in October 2010.
Nomination information will be sent to all NFRA members in January of that year. A selection committee headed by NFRA's vice chairman of Refrigerated Foods -- along with five other members of NFRA's Refrigerated Food Council -- will choose the recipients.
