Having canceled its May "Future Connect" conference due to the influenza outbreak, the supermarket industry's largest organization, theFood Marketing Institute , said today that it has rescheduled the executive event for October 12-14 at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas. Future Connect has three tracks with educational programming for supermarket industry operations officials, as well executives and senior executives. A separate MARKETECHNICS event -- originally scheduled this month in Dallas -- has been postponed. It will be held in 2010 during an FMI conference in Las Vegas.
