Having canceled its May "Future Connect" conference due to the influenza outbreak, the supermarket industry's largest organization, theFood Marketing Institute, said today that it has rescheduled the executive event for October 12-14 at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas. Future Connect has three tracks with educational programming for supermarket industry operations officials, as well executives and senior executives. A separate MARKETECHNICS event -- originally scheduled this month in Dallas -- has been postponed. It will be held in 2010 during an FMI conference in Las Vegas.
