Nestle taps Mitchell to lead Dreyer's

Nestle USA, Glendale, Calif., appointed Mike Mitchell, 49, as president and CEO for Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream Inc. Mitchell previously was president of sales for Nestle USA and he replaces retiring CEO Timothy Kahn. One of the nation's largest ice cream companies, Oakland, Calif.-based Dreyer's produces a range of ice creams and novelties under the Dreyer's and Edy's brands.
