INGREDIENT BRIEFS: Global flavor and fragrance giant Symrise AG, Frankfurt, Germany, appointed Heinz-Jurgen Bertram as chief executive officer, effective July 1. Symrise is the parent to Symrise Inc., Teterboro, N.J. . . . Ingredients and flavors supplier Kerry Americas, Beloit, Wis., officially opened its 260,000-square-foot innovation center in Beloit. The $50 million facility features dedicated customer-application suites, a culinary theater, sensory services, analytical labs and customer application pilot facilities. . . . Main Street Ingredients, La Crosse, Wis., reorganized its sales structure and promoted Rob Hollnagel, Jr., to sales manager, Contract Manufacturing Group. Main Street said Sales Director Mike Homewood will now oversee Main Street's Contract Manufacturing and Branded Ingredients groups.
