Firm pegs 2009 food construction market

Industrial Info Resources (IIR) Sugar Land, Texas, said North American food and beverage processors spent an estimated $26.7 billion for facility projects during 2009.

IIR said collected data on as many as 1,610 food and beverage projects including greenfield construction, rebuilds, modernizations, upgrades, modifications, additions, and major maintenance shutdowns.
