General Mills plans to spend approximately $100 million and expand Yoplait yogurt operations in Murfreesboro, Tenn., according to a report byThe (Nashville) Tennesseean.
Officials said they expect to complete a facility addition in about 18 months. The project will add about 80 more jobs to the site, which already employs 832 people. Murfreesboro also produces refrigerated Pillsbury biscuits and frozen toaster strudel, reports said.
