Capitalizing on mini-sandwich and burger trends in casual dining and quick-serve restaurants, Nestle Prepared Foods Co., Solon, Ohio, has introduced Hot Pockets SIDESHOTS, a line of on-the-go sandwich snacks.

"Available in both four- and 22-packs, SIDESHOTS are a great option to enjoy wherever, whenever. Just heat, break and eat!," says Nestle.

Two new varieties are a Mini Cheeseburger and Buffalo Chicken. Officials say SIDESHOTS sandwiches pull apart for easy portioning and feature a tasty filling inside a soft-baked bun.

SIDESHOTS four-packs (in a 9-oz. box) carry a suggested retail of $2.49. A 49.5-oz carton of 22 sandwiches retails for between $10 and $12.
