Ready-To-Blend Smoothie Kit Featuring Pre-Mixed Frozen Fruits, Vegetables

May 27, 2015

Inventure Foods, Inc., Phoenix, Ariz., introduced Rader Farms Fresh Start Fusions, a line of strategically paired frozen fruits and vegetables pre-mixed for at-home Rader Farms smoothie kitsmoothies and frozen beverages.

Available in Sunrise Refresh Fusion (a blend of blueberry, strawberry, red raspberry, kale and spinach), Morning Vitality Fusion (combines mango, nectarine, sweet potato and carrot) and Daily Power Fusion (a nutritious blend of green apples, pineapples, kale and broccoli) varieties, Fresh Start Fusions feature a simple ingredient panel and come in bags donning a clear "see-thru" window on the front, so consumers know exactly what is going into their smoothie.

In addition, the ready-to-blend smoothie kits feature zero additives, no sugar or preservatives, are an excellent source of vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants and pre-cut frozen fruit and vegetables picked at the peak of ripeness and individually quick-frozen (IQF) to preserve freshness and nutritional value.

"We've grown and processed berries for nearly 75 years at Rader Farms, and we've been processing frozen vegetables from our fresh frozen facility for nearly four decades," says Dan Hammer, senior vice president and general manager of the frozen division at Inventure Foods.  "We have a unique understanding of today's frozen food consumer, and we know the great lengths they go to make a blended smoothie or fresh juice at home. Fresh Start represents a giant leap forward in terms of convenience for these consumers, and the nutrition is everything one would expect from our premium Rader Farms brand."

The frozen fruit and vegetable blends come in 8-ounce packages yielding two, 8-ounce smoothies when blended as directed with water and/or fruit juice for a suggested retail price of $2.99. A 48-ounce club store variety provides six, 8-ounce smoothies for a suggested retail price of $9.99 per bag.
