Ruiz Foods, Dinuba, Calif., expanded its El Monterey brand to include the morning breakfast burrito, available in Egg, Sausage & Cheese, Egg & Bacon, 
Egg, Sausage, Cheese & Potato, Egg, Cheese & Jalapeño and Meat Lovers, made with egg, sausage, bacon and cheese.
The burritos are an excellent source of protein, are made with real ingredients like scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, sausage and fresh-baked flour tortillas and can be ready in just 3.5 minutes in the microwave.
"As a mom myself, it's important to me to be able to say our El Monterey breakfast burritos are 'real food that tastes good,'" says Kim Ruiz Beck, chairman. "Breakfast is such an essential meal, particularly during the school year, and our El Monterey breakfast burritos offer a convenient and hearty, protein-filled option."
El Monterey breakfast burritos are available in the breakfast section of the frozen food aisle at major grocery retailers in single-serve and 4- and 12-packs.
