Squid Ink Manufacturing, Inc., a Brooklyn Park, Minn., subsidiary of Engage Technologies Corp., introduced the new Squid CoPilot 256 inkjet printing system for printing high-resolution characters, barcodes, logos and more on either porous or non-porous surfaces. With up to 2.8 inches of total print height and the ability to print on both sides of the substrate in a single pass, the CoPilot 256 is designed to work as an integral part of a user’s day-to-day packaging operation.

CoPilot 256’s 4.3-inch full color touch screen provides access to the system’s internal messages and print functions. Messages are created and edited on the company’s easy-to-use Orion PC software and transferred via Ethernet or USB device.

The printer features a durable touchscreen, industrial-strength print head construction and print engines designed for industrial applications.
