Aunt Bessie’s parent company acquires The Food Doctor
William Jackson Food Group owns the Aunt Bessie's frozen food line and organic food retailer Abel & Cole.
William Jackson Food Group (WJFG), the UK-based company behind Aunt Bessie's frozen food and organic food retailer Abel & Cole, acquired The Food Doctor, a London-based healthy snacking brand.
Ian Hunt, who has led two WJFG businesses as managing director and maintains a pedigree working with consumer brands within the grocery retail channel, was appointed as managing director of The Food Doctor.
Meanwhile, Michael da Costa, who formerly owned the business, will remain with The Food Doctor as innovation director.
