The FECR Connect system is a web-based portal that allows users to plan, schedule and track shipments in real time.
Florida East Coast Railway (FECR), Jacksonville, Fla., now provides customers with more features and capabilities in the FECR Connect system, a web-based portal that allows users to plan, schedule and track shipments in real time.
The system updates every 2-3 minutes, and the dashboard allows customers to tailor it to specific needs and view shipments from the past month.
All documents can be accessed, exported and printed directly from the portal at any time. Filters are available to narrow down information in reports, a feature designed specifically for larger customers.
Another important tool is EZ Buy, an online price quote and booking system for customers to “buy” door-to-door intermodal transactional freight connecting the Southeast U.S. markets to the South Florida markets.
