Douglas Machine’s Ascend bottom load case packer loads 48 flash frozen breakfast patties into regular slotted cartons. This solution ensures that stacked patties stay uniform while loading. The cases are bottom-sealed with glue and taped on top at 30 cases per minute. Downstream, an integrated Douglas TriVex top load case packer loads the cases into a larger shipper case.

UNIVERSAL CASE PACKER
PMI Cartoning debuted a new universal case packer that boasts the ability to run wrap-around, side-load and top-load cases on a single machine. The all-servo design features Allen-Bradley multi-axis Kinetix servos, allowing for maximum uptime, quick changeovers and simple operation. A dual-arm servo assembly is used for case blank erecting and opening. Additional features include an automatic lube system, open flap detect/reject and an integrated case up-ender and print conveyor.
