Generational Equity, a mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses based in Houston, Texas, announced the sale of its client, Interprovincial Meat Sales Ltd. to Premium Brands Holdings Corp., Canada. The acquisition closed Feb. 2.

Premium Brands owns a broad range of leading specialty food manufacturing and differentiated food distribution businesses with operations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia, Canada, as well as Nevada, Ohio, Arizona and Washington.
The acquisition of Interprovincial Meats gives Premium Brands an entry into business in the eastern provinces.
