Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc., Ontario, Calif., is hitting the road in its new food truck to deliver a unique way for operators to experience its line of ethnic cuisine.

The truck will be used throughout the year at foodservice events targeting business and industry, college and universities and regional chains.

"What better way to showcase how these products can fit into your menu easily and effectively than to bring the products to them, cooked and served the way they were intended to be," says Brad Kumin, vice president of foodservice marketing.

The truck is equipped with a commercial kitchen, including a flat-top grill, oven, stove top, fryer, freezer and refrigerator.

"Ultimately our goal was to mimic a standardized fast-casual restaurant or other foodservice back of house," says Kumin. "We want to make sure we are providing a solution for these operators to enhance their menus. And, by preparing these items on the spot in a food truck, it's highlighting the ease of use, versatility and why these items are important to a menu."
