Freiberger, a Morris Plains, N.J.-based subsidiary of Südzucker, acquired Richelieu Foods, headquartered in Braintree, Mass., from Centerview Capital, Greenwich, Conn., for $435 million.

Richelieu produces private label frozen pizza and deli pizza as well as sauces and dressings for retail grocery and foodservice customers nationwide. The company maintains nearly 900 employees across its locations.
