Hanhaa launches Chicago hub to fuel U.S. expansion for logistics data services
ParceLive trackers are inserted into shipments, enabling 3PLs, logistics providers and corporate shippers to access a host of data on supply chain activities.
Hanhaa Ltd., London, announced a partnership with iD Commerce + Logistics (iD), a Chicago-based process and fulfilment outsourcer, to support the U.S. distribution and reverse logistics for its ParceLive data trackers.
ParceLive trackers are inserted into shipments, enabling third-party logistics providers (3PLs), logistics providers and corporate shippers to access a host of data on supply chain activities, including shipment location, temperature, humidity and when a consignment has been opened.
With a built-in return logistics system, comprising of U.S. postal licenses enabled by a dynamic e-ink return address label, ParceLive trackers are returned to iD’s Chicago facility (after use) where data is erased and the tracker readied for a new journey within ParceLive’s data logistics system.
“We’re delighted to be working with Hanhaa to support their disruption of the logistics industry,” says Dan Arriola, chief executive officer of iD. “We specialize in unique programs to support multi-channel marketers, and beyond this deal, we’ll be looking introduce ParceLive into our own operations.”
