Built adjacent to the current fulfillment center, the 40,000-square-foot facility is designed to serve both Omaha Steaks and future third-party needs across the Midwest.
The partnership will add 30 of Tricont Logistics’ temperature-controlled storage facilities to the Flowspace network of more than 100 fulfillment centers.

While not a cold-storage warehouse, this is an example of the very latest technology, automation, order picking, logistics efficiencies, and energy-saving equipment that cold chain facilities can incorporate into their own high-volume buildings.
In the past year, all grocery sales spiked in volume as consumers avoided indoor dining at restaurants. While the sometimes irrational demand for toilet paper received wide publicity, demand for frozen food also soared.
Kroger has committed to building 20 customer fulfillment centers (CFC), powered by Ocado, to accelerate its ability to provide customers with anything, anytime and anywhere.

The Kroger Co., Cincinnati, and Ocado, UK, announced plans to build a new high-tech customer fulfillment center in Forest Park, Ga.
Kroger's first CFC – a 335,000-square-foot automated warehouse facility with digital and robotic capabilities, also known as a shed – is being constructed in Monroe, Ohio.

The Kroger Co., Cincinnati, and Ocado, UK, broke ground on what is said to be the nation’s first customer fulfillment center (CFC).
