The Bonduelle Group, France, acquired Seneca Foods’ Lebanon, Pa., plant, effective Feb. 11.

This plant, which is used for the packaging of frozen products, was built in 2008, and was acquired by Seneca Foods, Marion, N.Y., in 2010. It boasts a capacity of 45,000 tons on seven packaging lines, with a large storage capacity and 140 permanent collaborators.

This acquisition allows both industrial and logistical synergies with existing facilities, and offers enhanced quality of service for the benefit of Bonduelle Americas Long Life (BALL) business unit customers.
