Lotus Bakeries, the San Francisco-based maker of the Biscoff cookie, introduced a new line of super-premium ice cream.
This quintessential ice cream marries dairy cream with crunchy Biscoff cookies and the original cookie butter, is then dipped in a layer of cookie butter and enrobed in a creamy layer of Belgian chocolate.
The pints come in Original, Chocolate Brownie, Salted Caramel, Belgian Chocolate Chip and Blueberry Cheesecake, varieties while the Lotus Biscoff ice cream bar comes in Original.
“Biscoff is exploding in the U.S., and we can’t be more excited to bring the beloved Biscoff taste to ice cream,” says Michelle Singer, U.S. general manager.
This line of super-premium ice cream is available at participating Safeway/Albertsons chains in Northern California, Oregon, Idaho, and Arizona, with the bars available in October.
