The vision-guided, robotic Peregrine cartoner maintains high speeds and offers the ultimate flexibility—all in a small, hygienic package. The high-speed, flexible system loads flexible bags, flow packs and other primary packages into tri-seal and other style cartons. Changing from one carton size to another or changing products carton-to-carton is as easy as a simple push of a button. The Peregrine’s JLS TRAK eliminates the need for any other conveyors to move cartons away from the former, to accumulate, or manage the loading process. Cartons are kept in-line, without turns—from forming and filling, all the way to closing.

ULTRA-HD PRINTING FOR COLD FOODS PACKAGING

In support of demands for packaging promotional power, Mondi is offering Ultra-HD printing, which produces high-quality images and text typically associated with rotogravure printing but with the efficiencies and cost advantages of flexographic printing. The high definition print process is available on Flexzibox, stand-up pouches and laminated films. Mondi can help refrigerated and frozen foods producers as well as brand owners to print vibrant images and compelling marketing messages at an affordable cost. GEA PowerPak PLUS is the newest thermoforming packaging system from GEA featuring full visibility at the sealing station during production, automatic top and bottom film alignment for perfect sealing and change-over, and set-up times that take just minutes. PowerPak PLUS is designed around efficiency, promoting excellent package quality, reduced film consumption, fast and simple handling, and low cost of ownership. Features include transparent, hygienic sliding doors that provide easy access for maintenance with a perfect view of the machine to help operators judge when films need changing. The film rollers have also been standardized for easy maintenance and reduced inventory.
