Global cold storage capacity has climbed to 7.73 billion cubic feet, as market leaders maintain dominance and mid-scale operators accelerate share gains.

The facility offers up to 12.7 million cubic feet of temperature-controlled capacity. 

Located within close proximity to the Jacksonville Port (JAXPORT), this new site enhances FreezPak’s ability to provide efficient import/export solutions while offering reliable supply chain support to a variety of industries, including food, pharmaceuticals, and other perishable goods.

The facility is located approximately 20 miles from the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports. 

The facility, to be leased exclusively by FreezPak Logistics, spans over 20 acres, offering 53,000 new pallet positions. 

Near-port industrial site will be a 245,400-square-foot temperature-controlled warehouse, set to break ground this month. 

FreezPak's new location will offer their one-stop-shop 4PL model, known as FreezPak Complete, providing drayage, cold storage, USDA/FDA inspections, LTL and FTL transportation services, along with many other value-added services.

The project is set to break ground on the first phase of construction this spring and will include a 281,849 square foot temperature-controlled warehouse.

The Chicago facility encompasses 212,807 square feet of temperature-controlled warehouse and is strategically located near Interstate 55.

FreezPak Jacksonville will contain 34 loading docks, 132 trailer parking stalls, 90 container plug-ins and 194 additional car parking spaces.
