Seattle-based Seafreeze Cold Storage said it received a $561,000 low-interest loan to improve energy efficiency at its 7 million-cubic-foot refrigerated facility in south Seattle.
Northwest Indiana media say port logistics and maritime services provider ICS Logistics, Jacksonville, Fla., is considering LaPorte, Ind., as the possible location for a new $50 million, 500,000-square-foot refrigerated and frozen warehouse.
