On this episode of From the Cold Corner, we’re joined by Dustin Norton, Sustainability Program Manager at Primus Builders, to discuss sustainability initiatives, LEED certification and more in the design and construction of cold storage facilities. 

As the only company offering a true recycling program for rack systems, this allows customers to find innovative ways to meet sustainability goals by reducing the need to source new steel. 

The buildings, totaling more than 700,000 square feet of space, are located in Denton and San Antonio, Texas.

The new facility is scheduled to be operational by late summer 2024. 

The building will be home to more than 30,000 pallet positions and will feature turret trucks running in very narrow aisles in order to maximize storage space. 

The first project is a Class-A speculative freezer/cooler facility located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area.

FreezPak Logistics and Elizabeth and Newark officials announced today a project that will see the construction of a 140,000 square foot, state-of-the-art freezer warehouse facility. The project is located at the corner of Newark Avenue and Virginia Street on the border of Elizabeth and Newark. Elberon and Fidelco are co-developers in the project.
