Sanderson Farms Inc., Laurel, Miss., announced that it will register for possible future sale shares of its common and/or preferred stock at or below $1 billion.
Just days after Sanderson Farms said it will delay plans for a new plant in North Carolina, Foster Farms, Livingston, Calif., said it will no longer build a poultry operation in northeastern Colorado.
Sanderson Farms Inc., Laurel, Miss., said it will spend $126.5 million to construct a new feed mill, hatchery and poultry processing plant in Kinston, N.C.
