Feeding America, Chicago; Feeding Texas, Austin, Texas; and the Collaborative for Fresh Produce, Richardson, Texas, partnered to address hunger and food waste in the Southwest and develop a regional model that can be scaled nationally.
The data and insights gleaned from this project will help in identifying sustainable practices and new forms of energy for the poultry industry at large.

Tyson Foods Inc., Springdale, Ark., partnered with Auburn University’s National Poultry Technology Center (NPTC) to open what is said to be the largest stand-alone solar-powered poultry house to be operated completely off the grid.
Areas of potential collaboration include general advocacy, research, technical committee coordination, joint conferences and meetings, young professionals’ development, training and education programs, publication distribution, community service and diversity and inclusion.
