Its the most environmentally sustainable distribution facility the company has built to date.

This agreement is designed to enable Kraft Heinz to achieve its aspiration of procuring the majority of its electricity from renewable sources by 2025, a key focus area of the company’s net-zero emissions plans.

Hormel Foods recently became a major sponsor of an up to 50,000-acre regenerative-agriculture pilot project to be located throughout central and southeast Minnesota. 

The new facility replaces a 92-year-old facility in Waseca and will provide approximately 20% more capacity for processing vegetables. 

 This year, employees from across the organization submitted a record 211 sustainability-focused projects that conserve water, reduce waste and save energy, underscoring Conagra's commitment to nourishing and restoring the planet.  

Zero Waste to Landfill is achieved when at least 99% of waste generated throughout the manufacturing process is diverted from landfills.

Combined, FreezPak locations in Carteret and Elizabeth, New Jersey are expected to generate 2,832,900 kWh (kilowatt hours) in their first year of clean electricity generation. 

The Bethlehem Farm features industry-leading technological advancements and pioneering sustainability initiatives and is the key to accelerating expansion of the company's network of farms across the U.S

In a partnership with Daimler Truck North America, the company plans to deploy up to 800 battery electric Freightliner eCascadia Class 8 tractors serving Sysco customers by 2026.
