Path of Life, known for their plant-based, frozen quinoa, rice, and veggie blends, has welcomed Blake Zimmerman to the Live Simple family as the Director of Brand Sales. In this position, Zimmerman will be responsible for developing and advancing Path of Life’s retail presence across the county. He will lead sales strategies for existing products in addition to developing launch strategies for new brand innovations.

EDL Packaging announces David O’Keefe has been named Director of Sales at its Green Bay, Wisconsin location. In his new role, David will be responsible for leading the EDL sales team, and managing key EDL Packaging client relationships. Chipotle Mexican Grill announces the Chipotle Virtual Farmers’ Market through Shopify, allowing farmers in the Chipotle supply chain to launch improved versions of their own eCommerce websites. Through individualized online marketplaces, Chipotle suppliers will be able to sell meat, dairy and grain products, and other items directly to consumers across the country. As a digital innovator known for seeking long-term solutions, Chipotle is assisting in the development of each supplier’s site, covering hosting fees on Shopify for two years and supporting the design and development of the direct-to-consumer storefronts.

Alpha Foods has made their plant-based Chik’n Nuggets accessible worldwide through a new partnership with KFC in Hong Kong. As part of KFC’s “New Era” plant-based series (which also includes Gardein's New Era chicken burger) the popular Alpha Nuggets are now available to carnivores and flexitarians alike at select locations across Hong Kong.

California Dairies, Inc. (CDI), today announced it will cease operations at its Artesia, California, manufacturing facility, effective immediately. The entire facility will close, affecting approximately 49 employees.
