The CEO sits down with R&FF to share more about why the company is focusing on frozen.

Attendees called for Congress to support science-based regulatory decision-making from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and passage of the Supporting All Healthy Options When Purchasing Produce (SHOPP) Act. 

AFFI and The Food Industry Association will host the 2024 Frozen IQ even in Texas from June 3-5. 

Nearly 1,600 professionals from more than 500 different companies convened in San Diego for the frozen food industry’s premier annual event, which took place February 24-27.

A coalition of organizations representing the food chain stressed that frozen food should play a leading role in meeting the federal government’s sustainability goals.

New research finds that frozen foods maintain their relevance to grocery shoppers and offer a suite of valuable benefits that meet their mealtime needs. 

AFFI representatives from U.S. frozen food processors joined international counterparts to highlight the benefits of the category at the first-ever International Frozen Food Conference.

AFFI called on public health agencies to adhere to their commitment to transparent and accurate reporting consistent with effective risk communication principles.

In this position, she will support AFFI’s outreach to and engagement with key federal agencies and the food industry and advance the association’s regulatory and technical priorities.
