The mochi brand debuted two new flavors at Natural Products Expo West 2023.

Bubbies Ice Cream will debut a new brand identity to more strongly connect consumers with the brand’s purpose: to take a trip to paradise with each bite of blissfully unexpected mochi ice cream. 

The expansion of its super-premium mochi ice cream at the conventional grocer marks a significant achievement in response to surging consumer demand for the delicious, and mindfully indulgent treats.

Bubbies Ice Cream, the number-one mochi brand in the natural channel according to SPINS*, announced the debut of three new non-dairy mochi flavors in six-pack retail boxes: Vegan Chocolate Mochi, Vegan Strawberry Mochi, and a newly created flavor, Vegan Mango Mochi. Made with a base of coconut milk and wrapped in sweet mochi dough, the new varieties are now available in select Whole Foods Market and Gelson’s Market locations with additional retailers to follow. This summer, the new line will also come in a variety box at select Costco stores.

Bubbies Ice Cream has announced new distribution as well as increased shelf sets for its Mochi Ice Cream and Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites in major retailers, including Sprouts Farmers Market, Whole Foods Market, Safeway, Albertsons, Shaw’s, Acme and Big Y. As one of the largest players in the mochi category, the new retail partnerships and expanded shelf placement marks a significant milestone for the brand, making its snacks more accessible for shoppers nationwide.

Bubbies Ice Cream, the frozen novelty brand best known for its super-premium Mochi Ice Cream innovations, has announced it will begin shipping its Mochi Ice Cream in new individually-wrapped packaging to grocery stores and natural retailers across the country this fall. The new packaging marks the reopening of Bubbies Mochi Self-Serve Freezers that have long been a grab-and-go snack destination for customers looking to mix and match their favorite flavors. Earlier this spring, these in-store freezers were scaled back in retailers, due to an abundance of caution regarding COVID-19.
