With the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granting approval to a cell-based – or cultivated – meat product, new foods are expected to hit store shelves soon.
Nestlé is upgrading its 40-year-old R&D facilities in Singapore to feature state-of-the-art labs, experimental kitchens, consumer testing, sensory evaluations rooms, open working spaces, as well as Nestlé's fundamental research hub. This will enable faster translation of breakthrough science into nutritious, great-tasting products for people, across all life stages.
Siew Keat Tung has been promoted to Managing Director of Multivac Malaysia. He also took over the management of the Multivac Singapore subsidiary at the start of the year. The previous managing director, Soon Heng (Robin) Lim, will leave the company at the end of February 2021.
