Recent food recalls in the United States and Europe is putting more pressure on processors to test more frequently, thus driving demand for food safety diagnostic products and commercial laboratory services over the next five years, according to a study produced by Strategic Consulting, Inc., Baltimore, Md.

According to the “Global State of Quality 2 Research: Discoveries 2016” report, 36% of survey respondents said their organization views quality as a strategic asset and competitive differentiator, up from 22% in 2013.
