Over a dozen products and tens of millions of pounds of foods sold under brand names Ajinomoto, Kroger, Ling Ling, Tai Pei and Trader Joe’s are affected.
The recalls have been issued due to radioactivity detected in a shipment of imported shrimp processed by Indonesian firm PT. Bahari Makmur Sejati (DBA BMS Foods.)
The recalled products were distributed throughout the United States and Canada and packed in various formats under the brand names listed and sold at retailers including Walmart, Food Lion and Giant Eagle.
