Bonduelle Fresh Americas, the U.S.-based, wholly-owned subsidiary of Bonduelle and home of Ready Pac Foods, has appointed Andrea Montagna as Chief Executive Officer. Chiquita's Great White Fleet has acquired 850 new Carrier Transicold PrimeLINE refrigerated containers to support banana and pineapple export operations from Central America. The new PrimeLINE units acquired by Great White Fleet will replace older, less efficient units and will be installed on new 40-foot high-cube containers to ship bananas and pineapples from Central America to Europe and North America.
Don Goodwin, founder and former owner of GoldenSun Insights, a strategy-centric firm focused in the fresh produce industry, passed away on Sunday, April 18th, 2021. Goodwin was 58 years old. He leaves behind his loving wife, Roxanne, and daughter Isabella. He was surrounded by family during his passing. Goodwin had been battling multiple myeloma since November 2013.
