MaMa Rosa’s LLC announced that it has acquired Amstar Foods LLC, Greenville, S.C., for an undisclosed price. Sidney, Ohio-based MaMa Rosa’s called the purchase a strategic fit that would expand market presence in the food service channel. Amstar Foods, LLC manufactures, markets, sells and distributes cold press pizza crusts and pizza dough balls throughout the United States under the Amstar and Virga Brands. The deal closed August 4.
