Mikey’s—one of our 2020 Best New Retail Products Winners—has launched two new hand-held pockets in collaboration with Beyond Meat. The two new pockets, Spicy Southwest and Meaty Marinara, are plant-based and feature Beyond Beef Crumbles. Like Mikey’s existing line of pockets, they are also gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free.
Spicy Southwest is inspired by a Tex-Mex beef burrito and includes Beyond Beef Crumbles, plant-based cheddar cheese, beans, onions and peppers in a gluten-free crust.
Meaty Marinara is inspired by a classic meatball sub and includes Beyond Beef Crumbles, plant-based mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce in a gluten-free crust.
In total, Mikey’s offers eight varieties of gluten-free and dairy-free hand-held pockets. Spicy Southwest and Meaty Marinara are the first to include a plant-based meat.
