New Survey by Bob Evans Reveals Americans are Time Crunched for Breakfast
Bob Evans Farms released the results of their consumer study analyzing weekday breakfast preferences, attitudes, and behaviors of 1,000 employed American consumers. The survey revealed a striking disparity between breakfast preferences and behaviors, highlighting that most Americans place a higher priority on eating breakfast during the workweek, yet more than half of those surveyed were simultaneously too busy to prep and prepare weekday morning meals.
According to the survey, 65% of respondents consider eating breakfast to be a high or very high priority, with men more likely to agree compared to their female counterparts. However, 56% of American workers felt they were too busy to make breakfast in the morning during the workweek, and almost two-thirds of respondents (63%) preferred having an extra hour of sleep than waking up early to cook breakfast.
