FreezPak Opens New Location in Philadelphia, Offers 4PL Model
Facility uses robots and features 20 loading docks.
FreezPak Logistics, a family business and leader in cold storage solutions, announced the opening of its new state-of-the-art cold storage facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This facility, owned and operated by FreezPak, will offer cooler and frozen temperature zones, boasting over 172,000 square feet of space. The facility is located within minutes of Packer Avenue Marine Terminal and Interstate 95.
The new location features 20 loading docks, 30 trailer parking stalls with 50 container plug-ins, and 60 car parking spaces. Situated on 7 acres of land, the cooler dock alone boasts 26,802 square feet. With a 75-foot building height for the freezer and a 30-foot building height for the cool dock, the facility is designed to meet the highest standards of efficiency and safety. FreezPak's new location will offer their one-stop-shop 4PL model, known as FreezPak Complete, providing drayage, cold storage, USDA/FDA inspections, LTL and FTL transportation services, along with many other value-added services.
