ARCO, Performance Food Group Unveil Texas Foodservice Distribution Facility
Advanced features include freezer spaces with 50-foot clear height, plus a high-performance ammonia refrigeration system with an engine room and penthouse units.
ARCO National Construction recently partnered with Scannell Properties to deliver a 355,000-square-foot cold storage facility in Fort Worth, Texas, for Performance Food Group (PFG), an industry-leading food and foodservice distribution company.
The project significantly enhances PFG’s distribution capabilities in Texas and surrounding markets.
“This project reflects the strong partnership and collaboration we’ve built with PFG and ARCO over the years,” said Don Tuttle, director of cold storage for Scannell Properties. “This is one of many successful projects with PFG and it demonstrates the trust, teamwork, and shared commitment that define our long-standing relationship.”
The state-of-the-art facility includes multiple temperature zones: more than 69,000 square feet of -10 degree Fahrenheit freezer space, approximately 46,000 square feet of cooler storage, and a 1,600-square-foot -20 degree Fahrenheit ice cream freezer.
The dry warehouse and freezer spaces have 50-foot clear height, plus a high-performance ammonia refrigeration system with an engine room and penthouse units.
