ARCO has completed a 603,000-square-foot cold storage facility for DHL Supply Chain and a Fortune 500, world-leading food company in Jacksonville, Florida. 

The facility expands DHL’s national cold chain network and enhances logistics and distribution capabilities across the Southeast.

Situated on a 44-acre site, the high-performance facility includes a 482,560-square-foot, 36 degree Fahrenheit cooler; 108,000 square feet of dry warehouse space; and a 12,500-square-foot office. Key features include a freon refrigeration system, a layer picker system, 38-foot clear height, 64 dock positions, and a solar-ready roof structure. Designed and constructed to pursue LEED certification, the facility incorporates energy-efficient systems, sustainable materials, and infrastructure to support future renewable initiatives.

The Jacksonville project marks the latest collaboration in ARCO’s long-standing partnership with DHL. Together, the companies have delivered more than 58 projects totaling over 22.2 million square feet nationwide.
