News-Star said a U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge approved and finalized the $80 million sale of Pilgrim's Pride Corp.'s chicken processing plant in Farmerville, La., to Foster Farms, Livingston, Calif., and the State of Louisiana. Officials said Foster Farms expects to re-open the plant (closed on May 8) by mid-July. . . .
