LED lighting supplier Digital Lumens, Boston, said it secured $10 million in Series B funding and a new working capital line of credit. Officials say Digital Lumens will use the additional funding to expand international sales and distribution and boost industrial lighting product development. Digital Lumens says its customers include cold storage warehouse giants Americold and United States Cold Storage.
Food processing equipment supplier Provisur Technologies, Inc., Mokena, Ill., said it hired 25-year industry veteran Tom Van Doorn as sales manager, Slicing North America. Officials said Van Doorn has previous experience at as Convenience Food Systems (CFS), Weber, and Cryovac. He will represent Provisur's Formax® and Cashin® slicing brands, represented by the PowerMax™ and CashinEDGE™ product lines.
Cooling and refrigeration systems supplier RAE Corp., Pryor, Okla. said it promoted Lisa Schrader to marketing manager. Schrader previously was a marketing communications specialist. She succeeds Jim Chandler, who resigned effective April 15, 2011, to pursue other opportunities.
