Execs on the move at Fleischer's Bagels
Retail and foodservice supplier Fleischer’s Bagels, Inc., Macedon, N.Y., said it promoted Eric Kestenblatt to the newly created position of senior director-planning/development. Kestenblatt previously was director of operations. He now is responsible for Fleischer’s lean manufacturing, new product development and management training initiatives.
In conjunction, Fleischer's said it hired 30-year bakery industry veteran Thomas Becker as director of operations. Becker will manage the company's Macedon bagel bakery and distribution facility. He previously served in a variety of management posts at Rich Products Corporation and Harlan Bakeries, officials said.
