MICROPROCESSOR-CONTROLLED FOOD FORMER
The NuTEC 720 all-hydraulic, microprocessor-controlled, multi-outlet food former has a vane pump feed system that uses a rotating spiral to gently move product to the rotor. The former adapts to changing production requirements with minor tooling changes. Set up with a one-hole mold, the unit runs up to 3,600 8-ounce patties per hour on 5.5-inch paper; with a two-hold setup, it runs up to 7,200 4-ounce patties two-across on 4.75-inch paper.

CASE ERECTOR LOADER SEALER SYSTEM

An automated solution that combines case erecting and product loading, the Eagle BOXXER case erector loader sealer system meets various pack patterns. After product enters the unit through an in-feed conveyor, it is stacked according to the operator-chosen pack pattern. While product is stacked, a knock-down case is pulled from a hopper and formed. Then, a servo-driven mechanism loads the product into the top, bottom or side of the case, which passes through a set of side belt conveyors to be glued or taped before moving to the next station where the flaps are compressed and sealed.

HIGH-SPEED VERTICAL FORM-AND-SEAL MACHINE
The new WeighPack XPdius i-130 vertical form-and-seal machine uses two Panasonic servo motors and drives the pull belt assembly and fully adjustable horizontal seal jaws that travel in and out from 1-6.5 inches. It handles bags 2.5-13 inches wide and 2-18 inches long. Standard features include a cantilevered air film shaft that eliminates side chucks to hold film in place, a splicing table with film clamping, vacuum pull belts, air regulator, gauge and filter. Two rubber rollers built into the film carriage unwind the plastic. Other optional extras include gas flushing, polyethylene seal assembly, hole punch, vibratory shakedown settling device, bag squeezers to reduce air in head space and provisions for code dating/printing devices.
