AdvancePierre Foods Unveils New Packaging for Sandwich Line
Cincinnati-based AdvancePierre Foods unveiled a new look for many of its Fast Choice brand sandwiches. 
In response to consumer feedback, the company converted sandwich items previously packaged in opaque printed film to clear printed packaging that allows consumers to easily see the quality product before they buy it.
"Consumers need to feel comfortable with the quality, size and freshness of the food they are purchasing. We are constantly reaching out to our consumer base to obtain their feedback on our products, so we can provide the products they desire in the package format that sells best in the market," says Tony Schroder, president of convenience channels.
AdvancePierre is also consolidating its Hot Diggity Subs line of sandwiches into its Fast Bites product line to provide consumers with a broader selection of products under this single value brand. Items impacted by this transition include the BBQ Pork Sub, Spicy Pork Sausage Sub and the Italian Beef Charbroil Sub, all of which are now available under the Fast Bites name.
