Kellogg Co., Battle Creek, Mich., introduced new frozen foods under its Kashi and Eggo brands.

New to the Kashi line is the brand’s first frozen soups, available in Moroccan Minestrone—a combination of vegetables, including zucchini, chickpeas, tomatoes, onions, kale, yellow carrots and roasted garlic, combined with Kashi 7 Whole Grain Orzo Pasta—and Savory Chicken Noodle— white meat chicken and a blend of carrots, onions, celery, kale, red quinoa and whole grain bow tie pasta.

Kashi also expanded its lineup of steam meals with Three Cheese Ravioli Steam Meal—which features Kashi 7 Whole Grain Pasta filled with a creamy blend of ricotta, asiago and mozzarella cheeses, combined with spinach, basil, red peppers and chickpea puree—and Mushroom and Asparagus Risotto—a combination of crimini mushrooms and asparagus with Kashi 7 Whole Grains & Sesame pilaf tossed in a parmesan cream sauce.

Meanwhile, Eggo expanded its hand-held Waffler lineup with a Chocolatey Chip Muffin variety. Eggo Wafflers are tear-apart waffle bars, designed to be eaten right out of the toaster.

"Kellogg Co.'s frozen food lineup is anchored by strong brands and attractive, on-trend innovation," says Michael Allen, president of Kellogg frozen food division. "We have a clear understanding of what our consumers want for their families, and are committed to create new foods to meet these needs."
