Blue Bell Creameries Opens New Distribution Center
Blue Bell Creameries completed a new 12,000-square-foot branch distribution center located at 5009 Nelson Road in Cary, N.C. 
The Brenham, Texas-based ice cream manufacturer first came to the Raleigh area in early 2012. At that time, products were distributed from a Blue Bell facility in Charlotte, N.C. The new branch distributes products to all of Eastern North Carolina.
“The market has responded very well to Blue Bell since the beginning,” says Keith Britton, manager of the new facility. “We started out small, but the enthusiastic response from consumers led to steady growth. Our products are now sold in most grocery stores across the state. We are excited to open a branch here and look forward to continued success in North Carolina.”
The new facility includes a cold storage freezer, a dry storage warehouse and an office area.
