Seaboard Foods, Shawnee Mission, Kan., registered its intention to open a large new hog finishing operation—Ladder Creek West—in Greeley, Colo.
The plans include 120 barns, with each barn holding about 1,100 market pigs. The market hogs raised on this proposed new farm will supply the Guymon, Okla., fresh pork processing plant.
