Upgradable Design for HPP Machines
Avure Technologies, Erlanger, Ky., developed a new upgradeable design for its high-pressure processing (HPP) machines.
The new custom-build machines enable processors to buy the machine that best suits their current needs, and as their company grows and their volume expands, the HPP machine can be upgraded to keep up with increased demand.
Dubbed the AV-X series, the upgradable machines boast a flexible design with a smaller footprint to suit individual production needs. The new design is also said to reduce energy consumption by as much as 50%.
Features include newly-designed intensifiers, easier-to-maintain parts and large-diameter vessels built to accommodate larger, bulky or odd-shaped packages. The machines are also designed to provide easier load outs.
