SeaPak Shrimp & Seafood Co., a St. Simons Island, Ga.-based division of Rich Products Corp., added a new Lighthouse Selections lineup of “lighter” shrimp-based products to its portfolio.

“While taste still reigns supreme for consumers, people of all ages and life stages today are focusing more than ever on where their products come from, what ingredients are in them and how they are made,” says Daryl Miller, director of marketing. “SeaPak's new Lighthouse Selections lineup allows us to address this growing consumer preference, while remaining true to the high standards for taste and quality that the brand has established over the past 67 years.”

Made from sustainably certified, farm-raised shrimp, Lighthouse Selections are gluten-free, are said to contain fewer ingredients than traditional frozen seafood products and are free of trans fats, additives and preservatives. Designed to be grilled, baked or sautéed, Lighthouse Selections products feature on-trend seasoning, contain fewer than 180 calories and less than 8 grams of fat per serving.

The line comes in Shrimp & Veggie Griller, Creamy Garlic Shrimp and Marinated Shrimp, and is available at select retailers for a suggested retail price of $8.99.
