Nuestro Queso launches Oaxaca shredded cheese strips
Nuestro Queso, Rosemont, Ill., launched Oaxaca shredded cheese to its line of Hispanic dairy products.
Traditionally a ball made up of long, hand-rolled ribbons, Oaxaca cheese is said to be a popular cheese in Mexico because it melts and strings more effectively than other cheese varieties when heated. The new cheese strips can be used as a melting cheese or as a quick and convenient snack.

The authentic Oaxaca shredded strips are available in 8-ounce, 24-ounce and 5-pound bags for a suggested retail price of $3.99, $9.99 and $29.95, respectively.
